Red Ball Express
Red Ball Express is an annual fundraiser put on by the four Rotary Clubs in LaPlata County. On the day of the event (February 12, 2011), over 100 gigantic numbered red exercise balls will be rolled down a course on the slopes at Durango Mountain Resort. Prior to the event, tickets are sold. Each ticket is assigned a 2 number combination. If your combination matches the first, second or third pairs of balls to cross the finish line, you will win $5000, $2000, or $1000, respectively!
Riverhouse Children’s Center has partnered with Rotary and is selling tickets. For each $5 ticket sold, Riverhouse will receive $3.75! Thanks to the dedication and commitment of Riverhouse families, staff and board members, Red Ball Express ticket sales resulted in $3500.00 profit for the 2009/2010 fundraiser!
