The Riverhouse Children’s Center is a non profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) preschool and child care center. The school provides childcare and preschool services for families with children from 6 weeks through 5 years old. Riverhouse has been in operation since May of 2002, and currently serves approximately 50 children per day.

The center’s mission is to provide the best possible care for both children and families by supporting the needs of children and parents through the early learning years. Our child care philosophy is to treat children with compassion and dignity in a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment. We will do this by maintaining open and constant communication with parents and families in regards to their needs, and the needs of their children.

Riverhouse provides a healthy morning meal and lunch to all children over 1 year. The food program is comprised of healthy homemade foods, hormone and antibiotic free milk, and as many organic components as can be afforded.

The Riverhouse Children’s Center is available for families of all types. Children and families with special needs are welcome. We do not discriminate on any grounds, including family composition, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Riverhouse teachers are nurturing, compassionate, and have ongoing education in the area of Early Childhood Development. As per Colorado State Rules and Regulations regarding Childcare Centers, staff have completed background checks, child abuse reporting, first aid, CPR, and Universal Precautions.
