Kelly Tregillus
Kelly Tregillus joined the board in December 2021 and took over as Board President in May 2022. She and her husband, Nate, are both Fort Lewis Alumni and moved back to Durango from San Francisco in 2016. They have two children that attended Riverhouse, their daughter, Emslie, who is now 6 and in First Grade, and their son, Desi, who is a 4-year-old in the Falcon classroom this year.
Kelly works full-time as a Director with Upwork, an online work marketplace based in San Francisco. Kelly also co-founded Cafe au Play with her mother-in-law, Liza Tregillus, back in 2017. Cafe au Play is a baby and toddler-friendly indoor and outdoor play space for caregivers to connect.
Kelly and her family love to bike around Durango, ski in the winter time and spend time on the water.

Jessica Iudiciani
Jessica joined the Riverhouse Board of Directors in 2018. She has a strong passion for child development and values an "educate the whole child” approach. She has experience caring for and working with children of all ages in childcare centers, public schools, and as a nanny. She attended higher level education in Connecticut, where she is originally from, and is currently a school psychologist.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her son, dog, husband, family and friends, as well as seeing new places, volunteering, hiking, and cooking.

Kyle Montgomery
Kyle is a teacher with 9R and has two children that have attended Riverhouse. Kyle joined the board in 2020 and recently took over as the committee chair for Building Maintenance and Safety.

Amanda Byers
Amanda Byers joined the Board in 2022 and co-chairs the Fundraising Committee. She moved to Durango in 2018 from Basalt, CO. She is originally from Texas.
Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She completed her Physician Assistant training at the University of Washington School of Medicine (MEDEX) in Seattle in 2007, where she earned a Master of Clinical Health Services degree. She has worked in Orthopedic Surgery since 2007. She is a Physician Assistant at Elevate Orthopedics in Durango.
Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog. They love to enjoy all that Durango has to offer, including biking, hiking, skiing, backpacking, camping, and fishing. Her son started attending Riverhouse over a year ago.

Fundraising Committee Chair
Heather Grzyb
Heather Grzyb joined the Riverhouse Board in October 2022. She moved to Durango to attend Fort Lewis College and snowboard the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Heather graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. She then received a Master’s Degree in Literacy. Her love for children and learning has led her to pursue teaching as a career.
Heather taught kindergarten for many years before taking an extended maternity leave. She currently stays at home with her 1-year-old daughter and her 3-year-old son when he is not attending the Riverhouse.
Heather enjoys snowboarding, the beach, reading, and any outdoor activity, but most of all, making unforgettable memories with her husband and two kiddos.

Communications Committee Chair
Barrie Newberger King
Barrie Newberger King joined the Board in the summer of 2022 and is now the Communications Committee Chair. Barrie has lived in Durango since 2014, after moving here from West Virginia (by way of Washington D.C.)
Barrie has a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and owns a solo law practice in Durango. Barrie lives here with her husband, a third-generation Durangoan, and their son who has attended Riverhouse since he was just four months old.

Waitlist & Classroom Capacity Committee Chair
Elizabeth Devlin
Elizabeth Devlin joined the Board of Directors in 2022 and is our Waitlist Committee Chair. She works remotely in Revenue Operations for a tech company and has experience in operations, business development, and support, along with her MBA. Elizabeth and her husband moved to Durango in 2021 after spending almost 10 years in the Front Range, and are both originally from Kansas. They have 3 kids currently at Riverhouse and love the teachers, staff, and parent community it has created.
Elizabeth loves talking about anything kids-related (birth, nursing, sleep, potty, food...) and enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, and anything outside with her family. They love to take road trips, especially just around Colorado.

Riverhouse Board of Directors Members are elected volunteers and serve a 2-year term. Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:30p at Riverhouse.
